Dr Melnik at last!!! 🎉🎆🎉🎆🎉🎆🎉
Yesterday, I officially completed my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The University of Sydney.

It took 9 years of hard work, lots of challenges, late nights and early mornings, but it was 200% worth it!
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my supervisor, Associate Professor Nell Yeo , for her invaluable guidance and support. I am also grateful to my auxiliary supervisor, Associate Professor Michael Halliwell, for believing in my research topic and helping me in the very first steps of this study.
I would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr Wendy Dixon , who first inspired me to share my knowledge of Russian vocal music with my colleagues in Australia and to further research this topic.
I also could not have undertaken this journey without the help and advice of Professor Neal Peres Da Costa , Professor Helen Mitchell, Associate Professor Christopher Coady, Dr Jim Coyle, David Miller AM and Dr Eun-Jung Byun .
I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the twenty-three wonderful singers and voice teachers from four different countries who generously donated their time to participate in my research. I cannot name them here because they must stay anonymous for the purposes of this research, but I have to tell them how much I appreciate their contribution! ❤️🙏❤️
Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank my family for their enormous patience and support on this journey and to my friends who supported me and cheered for me. ❤️❤️❤️
Feeling absolutely over the Moon and looking forward to new adventures!!! ✨️ ✨️✨️
