Rachmaninoff's 149th birthday

Celebrating Rachmaninoff's 149th birthday, I would like to share this recording. Composed nearly 130 years ago, sadly, it is so relevant for today... S.Rachmaninoff Dream / Son Op 8 No 5 Natalia Melnik (Soprano), Benjamin Burton (Piano)

Translation: I too used to have my homeland, It was beautiful! There a fir tree swayed over me... But that was a dream!

The family of my friends were still alive. From everywhere loving words Were spoken to me... But that was a dream!
